Red 2 (2013)
Rated: PG13
116 min
Retired C.I.A. agent Frank Moses reunites his unlikely team of elite operatives for a global quest to track down a missing portable nuclear device.
From imdb:

Cast: Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Helen Mirren, and Mary-Louise Parker. Also starring: Anthony Hopkins, David Thewlis, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Brian Cox, Byung-hun Lee, and Neal McDonough.

Delightful movie. Even better than the first.

Willis is … Willis, and I like him in these roles. Malkovich is so believable as the paranoid nut, and he delivers his lines with perfect timing and just the right touch of dryness; add in his facial expressions and he steals the movie. Or maybe he doesn’t, because Mirren is just a great in her role. Hopkins delivers as the crazy man, but doesn’t he always? Liked seeing Thewlis outside of the Harry Potter world. Zeta-Jones was okay, but her accent kept changing/slipping and that was a bit annoying. Toss in some great scenery, funny bits that had the entire theater laughing, and you have the makings of a good movie outing.

Definitely worth the price of a theater ticket. I’d recommend watching Red (I) before seeing this one, just to help set the stage; but it’s not necessary. Rated 9 out of 10 stars at imdb.
